I will say it again, prize money needs to be increased ...

Racehorses for Lease

We always have a selection of racehorses to lease either outright, in shares or via syndication. Maybe a racehorse could even make that perfect gift for someone. It is certainly a great way of advertising a company as there is a possibilty to name the horse and run in your name and colours. So please do not hesitate to contact us on 01638 661434 or at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , to see if we can help you in any way.

These are free leases, usually with the option to purchase and can be written to suit. But the basic lease is free, you just pay the training and take all the prize money and glory.

There are severals horses in the yard which are available on a free lease with lots of different options concerning ownership. If you are interested in learning more about which horses and what is involved, please give the office a ring on 01638 661434 and we will be delighted to discuss matters further.

A lease can mean the whole horse, or a much smaller share, it all depends how much you want to be involved.

A strong, compact two-year-old type that has a tremendous temperament, and looks a readymade two-year-old. He is a March foal so I will be cracking on early with him. He is a half-brother to six winners, including Folk Opera who won the E P Taylor Group 1 and the Prix Jean Romanet, as well as three other races. He is highly recommended for anybody interested in having plenty of racing, in a horse that is sure to give them some fun.

Update - 27th June:

I have had to give him a little bit of an easy week or two as the firm ground has slightly jarred his knees up. He has grown a bit and is developing, so this will not hinder us too much. The form of his race has worked out unbelievably well and he is a very exciting prospect who is well worth waiting for.

Ma Petite Anglaise

A strong, compact, attractive filly, she is a February foal and looks a real two-year-old type. She is by the very exciting Farhh who has made a great start to his career and is now very sort after, both in the breeding shed and his offspring on the racecourse. The dam, Diverting, was a very decent filly and comes from a marvellous family with Mr Prospector and Nureyev on both sides of her pedigree. In fact this mating has very many ‘good nicks’ throughout the pedigree. She looks the type to give everybody fun and excitement.

Update - 27th June:

The fast work I have done will her has been very pleasing, but she has got a touch of sore shins which is a typical two-year-old problem. It is all caused from concussion when doing fast work. She is now starting to canter once again after a few days easy and we will be popping her through the stalls and hoping it rains to ease the ground. We have always known she has ability and this little set back will not hinder us in the slightest.

A very attractive, well grown scopy filly. She is a 3rd March foal and is half-sister to several winners. She is by the fast Epaulette, who has done very well with his first season runners, out of an Inchinor mare. There is Danzig and Northern Dancer on both sides of her pedigree and I think she will have much more speed than some of her more stoutly bred siblings. Although she will not be a very early sort, she is the type to mature and develop as the year goes on and I am sure mid-season onwards we will be getting her on the track.

Update - 27th June:

We are still delighted with this big scopy filly and she has one of the best temperaments you could wish for. She is a great mover and I am now starting to do a lot more with her, but the firm ground will just hold us up until it rains again. I love this filly who does everything right and has a proper future.
